My work is based on years of a combination of fine art training mixed with my love of classic inked line illustration (think Eloise books drawn by Hilary Knight). I love a bit of humor and charm as well as uniqueness of character design. I’m also a devoted Christian and I love getting to know people!

Most of my illustrations start with a pencil sketch and then I use Procreate to digitally draw and paint the pictures. Sometimes I use real watercolor if I want a true traditional looking painting. Digital art lets me create layered files which book designers prefer, in case they need to nudge things around because of the text.
I NEVER use AI to do any of my art! It’s all traditionally conceived, sketched and then produced by hand.
