It's time for valentines!
You've seen the valentines I've been working on lately-- they are inspired by retro valentine designs and were a lot of fun to do! I just finished putting them together on printable sheets to sell in my etsy shop! They are available singularly or in a pack of 7 different sheets and when you purchase them, you can print out as many as you need! (For personal use) But here's the even better news: IF you subscribe to receive updates and news (the green box to the right of this post), you will be given a code to get all of them for FREE until the end of February! I'm doing that as a big THANK YOU for all of your support while I am getting up and running. I promise not to send out news except for maybe once or twice a month, especially if I have something for you or I have some big news! Believe me, I get way too many emails myself so I won't be a pest.
Little valentines like this bring back good memories of school valentines boxes in elementary school and especially of the time when Craig and I were first dating! I was an art teacher and he was still a student at The Ohio State University. I was living in a little apartment building in the gorgeous historical Wyoming suburb of Cincinnati at the time in one of the two apartments on the second floor. I came home from school on a Friday afternoon and found little valentines placed on each step all the way up to my door and a heart balloon waiting at the top! Then he later hid more valentines all over my apartment so after the weekend, I would still find a couple to surprise me! Of course this was one of the many reasons I married him!! I thought I'd share that with you in case you need some inspiration for doing something sweet like this for someone you love!
Again, I want to thank you so much for your kind comments and support with my illustrations!!! You're the best!
